It appears Sean Penn has a new girlfriend. While that might not be big news, the age gap between the pair is… at least to some.
It appears the 56-year-old actor was photographed in Hawaii on Oct. 1 frolicking in the ocean with Leila George, the 24-year-old co-star of Lifetime’s Mother, May I Sleep with Danger and daughter of Law & Order: Criminal Intent star Vincent D’Onofrio.
The pair, who were spotted off the coast of Oahu, didn’t hold back from showing affection, with pictures depicting Penn pulling George in for a deep kiss and the young starlet gazing into his eyes.
Penn, who has won two Academy Awards for his roles in Mystic River and Milk, has a long history of involvement with beautiful blondes, from ex-wives Madonna and Robin Wright to Scarlett Johansson and most recently Charlize Theron, to whom he was allegedly engaged.
This also marks another in a string of recent May-December romances for the actor, who has been averaging a gap of 20 years between himself and his love interests.

The paparazzi spotted Penn in West Hollywood last month with a mystery blonde; the Hawaiian photographs confirm that his unnamed companion was George. For her part, the actress has kept mum on her relationship with Penn, with the exception of an Instagram post from late September showing the two in a studio recording an audiobook.

Penn was married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989, and to Wright from 1996 to 2010, with whom he has two children: Dylan, 25, and Hopper, 23. He and Theron split last year.
