MONTREAL – In the city’s fourth Molotov cocktail in two days, another business in Montreal was targeted by firebombers early Friday morning.
Just before 5 a.m., a window was smashed at Kardiologik, a gym in Villeray, located near the Jean Talon Market, between Moliere and de Castelnau streets.
The suspects then threw in a Molotov cocktail.
Constable Raphaël Bergeron confirmed that the fire was quickly put out by firefighters and damage was minor.
The attack follows three suspicious fires in Montreal earlier in the week – one in Snowdon at the kosher Chops Resto Bar on early Thursday morning and two bars in the Plateau.
Police have not confirmed that the rash of firebombings are linked.
