Peace River, Fort Nelson and Williston were included in the advisory Friday afternoon.

Global News meteorologist Yvonne Schalle said five to 10 centimetres of snow is likely to fall Friday night in those areas, with another five to 10 centimetres forecast for Sunday.
Winter-like driving conditions are expected for Highway 97 in the Pine Pass.
Schalle said the rest of the province will also see a transition to more fall-like weather this weekend, with rain and lower temperatures in the forecast.
