There’s now a third person who wants to be leader of the Progressive Conservative party in Alberta.
Calgary lawyer Byron Nelson announced Tuesday he is throwing his hat in the ring.
He says he wants to see Alberta restored to the “place of opportunity it once was.”

Nelson has been active in the party for over 25 years, and was a PC candidate in Calgary Bow in 2015.
Also vying to become leader are Calgary MLA Donna Kennedy-Glans and former Conservative MP Jason Kenney.

The leadership campaign begins next month and the vote is on March 18.
