2 people shot in Surrey in apparent targeted shooting

Surrey RCMP say two people remain in hospital following a targeted shooting in Surrey Sunday.

Officers were called to a home in the 4200-block of 152 Street after learning an adult man and woman were suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man is 33 years old and the woman is 22 years old. Police would not disclose their relationship.

Both were taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police are hoping to interview them later today.

Both the victims and the property where they were shot are known to police.

Surrey RCMP, along with Surrey Serious Crime investigators and Lower Mainland Forensic Identification Section are investigating.
