Regina police respond to gun call Victoria Avenue East; shell casings found

At around 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Regina police say they were called to Victoria Ave and Francis street for a report of gunshots and a motor vehicle accident.

The area was blocked off for a period of time while officers gathered evidence. Police say they found an abandoned vehicle that had hit another car.

They say at least two shell casings were also found at the scene.

According to police, the driver of the abandoned vehicle had fled the scene on foot.

Police say there were bullet holes in the abandoned vehicle and there were no injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
