An Edmonton woman says her yard is safe again after Telus workers repaired a hole left behind from new cable installation.
Trisha Ladouceur called Global News earlier this week to say she was upset with the mess Telus left behind when it installed fibre-optic cable in her Terwillegar neighbourhood.

One day after the story ran on Global News, Telus representatives came out to survey Ladouceur’s yard. The next day, crews arrived to fix the holes and landscaping.
Ladouceur said she’s very impressed with the quick response from Telus and wanted to give them credit for the safety improvements.
“They had actually gone out and purchased some large sheets of plywood and spray painted them with their Telus logo and ‘extreme danger’ or whatever it may be, placed the large sheets of plywood – which definitely makes it a little more stable of a surface – and some of the holes now even have orange fencing around, which is fabulous,” Ladouceur said.
