The courthouse in downtown Edmonton was closed for about an hour Thursday morning due to a watermain break.
The Alberta Justice & Solicitor General tweeted just after 9 a.m. that except for those who are paying traffic tickets, the Law Courts were temporarily closed to the public.
The courthouse was reopened just after 10 a.m. The watermain break happened outside the courthouse, but affected several downtown buildings.
This was the second time in recent months court has been disrupted. On June 30, the courthouse was evacuated due to a power outage caused by flooding.
