RCMP are investigating after a fiery crash on a northern Alberta highway left one person dead Wednesday.
Mounties said at around 3 a.m., officers were called to a collision on Highway 43 about 55 kilometres west of Fox Creek.

A witness told police a vehicle hit a semi-truck that was parked on the side of the highway before catching fire.
Fire crews and paramedics were also dispatched to the scene and after the fire was put out, a body as found inside the vehicle.
RCMP are still investigating and are trying to determined why the semi-truck was parked on the side of the highway.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, just west of the hamlet of Little Smoky, is asked to call the Fox Creek RCMP detachment at 780-622-3580.
