A 27-year-old Regina man who was arrested on a warrant for evading police is facing 18 charges.
According to police, at around 9:20 p.m. Friday, Daniel Joseph Moar was seen leaving a residence in the 800 block of Queen Street.
Police said officers used a spike belt to stop the vehicle in the 1300 block of Grace Street. According to police, Moar ran from the vehicle, then was stopped by a canine officer and police service dog.
A 31-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman who were in the vehicle were also arrested.
Police found a loaded SKS rifle in the vehicle. Officers also found two sawed-off guns, a long-barreled high-powered rifle and a replica gun at the residence in the 800 block of Queen Street.
Moar is facing 18 charges, including three charges of possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two charges of careless use of a weapon, possession of a firearm/prohibited firearm and use of a firearm during commission of an indictable offence.
Harold Joseph Hanson, 31, is facing 10 charges, including possession of stolen property under $5,000 and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
Brandi Cole Moosemay, 23, is facing six charges including possession of stolen property under $5,000 and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
Moar, Moosemay and Hanson appeared in provincial court Monday morning.
