Winnipeg Jets fans take to social media to honour Len ‘Kroppy’

WINNIPEG — Condolences are pouring in on social media, remembering Winnipeg Jets super fan, Len “Kroppy” Kropioski, who passed away.

Kropioski, 98, died Tuesday according to Kim Innard, a family friend.

The veteran was a staple at Winnipeg Jets games and a beloved member of the community.

Stacey Nattress, the anthem singer for the Jets posted on Twitter, “the anthem will never quite be the same without Kroppy. He meant so much to everyone in the city and he meant so much to me.”

Blake Wheeler’s wife posted, “Rest in peace, Kroppy. Jets games won’t be the same without you!”

Jets fans also took to social media; many saying games would not be the same without the 98-year-old veteran.
