Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted a contaminated water advisory issued for Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park on July 22.

According to AHS, tests confirm the bacterial levels are now within acceptable guidelines and therefore, the water is safe for swimming and wading again.
AHS said it will continue to sample the water to monitor and maintain the levels.
