Transport Canada is investigating after a biplane crash Tuesday afternoon at Springbank Airport, west of Calgary.

Rockyview fire officials were called after the plane landed, lost control and flipped over onto its roof on the runway.

Cochrane RCMP said only a pilot was on board, who was uninjured.

Crews could be seen working to right the plane just before 1 p.m.
