WINNIPEG — So much for getting stuck behind a train; a Winnipeg driver was on his way to a meeting, when he was stopped by a gaggle of Canadian geese.
Blair Malazdrewich, who works at Shaw Communications on Scurfield Boulevard, said he was leaving work Tuesday when dozens of geese started walking in front of his car.
“I wasn’t late, but I did wait like ten minutes for almost 40 of them,” Malazdrewich said.

Malazdrewich said there is a large field nearby where the geese rest and eat, which could be where they came from.
