KELOWNA – Cooking up 80 kilograms of pasta and rolling up 1200 meatball added up to a good amount of cash to help victims of the recent earthquake in Italy.
The Kelowna Canadian Italian club is calling a weekend fundraiser a huge success.

Volunteers served 538 dinners Friday and Saturday, which along with draw and auction prizes, raised more than $13,000.
All the funds go to the Red Cross relief effort ongoing in central Italy.
