A 55-year-old man from Riceton, Sask. died in a collision south of Regina Friday.
According to RCMP, at around 5 p.m. on Sept. 9, a truck going south was struck by a semi-trailer going east. The collision happened on provincial grid 621, located south of Lajord, Sask.
The 55-year-old man, who was the driver and only occupant of the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver of the semi, a 30-year-old man from Lajord, was taken to a Regina hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police said alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor. Police are still investigating the crash.
