Alberta RCMP locate man and truck believed to be linked to Edmonton Trail shooting

Editor’s note: RCMP issued a release late Sunday night to inform the public both the man and the truck in the surveillance photo have been located. They thank the public for their assistance.

Airdrie RCMP have released photos of a man and a truck believed to be related to a shooting that took place early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a call that an empty yellow 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck was being shot at in the Edmonton Trail area.

Officers don’t believe anyone was injured in the shooting, but are analyzing the targeted vehicle as part of the investigation.

Police believe the suspect vehicle left the area, travelling southbound.

Anyone able to help identify the man shown in the surveillance photos or anyone with information related to the incident are asked to call RCMP at 403-945-7200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
