“It was determined that these items were linked to stolen property investigations,” police said in a Friday news release.

Investigators later executed a search warrant on the house, during which they located property allegedly connected with car prowling and break and enters throughout Calgary, as well as two out of town incidents.

Police say among the items seized was property belonging to the RCMP, including two RCMP uniforms, a duty belt, shoulder patches, baseball cap, handcuffs and a toque.

“Additionally, items from a provincial government surplus yard in Edmonton, including an overhead light bar, a traffic advisory light bar and an Alberta Government fleet fuel credit card were located in the house,” police said.
