HAMILTON – Three Hamilton men are facing murder charges in the death of a doorman at a Hamilton night club.
Vincenzo Lofaro was gunned down in May outside Club 77, where he had been working security.
Police say Nora Murray, a friend who had come to pick him up after his shift, was also shot in the arm.
Police say a group of men had gotten into a fight with club staff about an hour before Lofaro was shot and had been ejected from the premises.
They allege the men returned to the club and shot Lofaro as what they describe as a “symbolic act of revenge,” since neither he nor Murray were not involved in the previous fight.
Police say 25-year-old Rebaz Resh, 26-year-old Waed Alabd Alnabi and 26-year-old Ammar Nabulsi are each charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
