Firefighters remain on scene at a fire that broke out in Surrey early Wednesday morning.
Crews responded to the call shortly before 2 a.m., arriving to heavy smoke billowing out of both sides of a large commercial building in the 19100-block of 95A Avenue.
Crews were initially concerned the blaze could spread to neighbouring businesses, but after an interior attack they were able to gain control.
The business builds outdoor furniture; the damage is primarily in the wood-working portion of the building, with some damage done to the surrounding offices as well.
No one was hurt. Crews will continue to monitor for hotspots throughout the morning.
Early reports say the fire was not suspicious.
