Early morning fire causes $10K worth of damage to Avenue E garage

Just before 6 a.m. CT on Sunday, the Saskatoon Fire Department received a report of a garage fire at 204 Ave. E South.

When crews arrived, they found a single-detached garage fully involved but had the fire under control in 19 minutes.

There were no one in the garage and at the time and no one was injured as a result of the suspicious blaze.

The cause is still under investigation by arson investigators from both the Saskatoon Fire Department and Saskatoon police.

The initial damage estimate is $10,000.
