RCMP seize 3 kilograms of cocaine at traffic stop in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — A 39-year-old man has been arrested after RCMP seized three kilograms of cocaine from his car at a traffic stop in Winnipeg.

On Aug. 18, the RCMP’s serious and organized crime unit conducted a traffic stop by Broadway Avenue and Maryland Street. While searching the Toyota Corolla, police seized powder cocaine and three electronic communication devices. The man was the only one in car.

Graham Gordon Spence, from Winnipeg, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking.

Spence was released on a cash bail. He must appear in court on Sept. 22.
