A preliminary hearing is due to continue Wednesday for two Bathurst police officers charged in the shooting death of a businessman in northern New Brunswick.
The RCMP say that on January 12th, 2015, police shot 51-year-old Michel Vienneau of Tracadie-Sheila at about 11:30 a.m. near the train station in Bathurst.

Vienneau was later pronounced dead at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
Bathurst police have said its officers were involved in an ongoing investigation, but released few other details.
RCMP from Nova Scotia were brought in to investigate the case and appealed to the public for information about the incident.
