Most people know P.K. Subban as the former defenceman for the Montreal Canadiens, but as he’s proven time and time again that he’s become much more than that.

On Tuesday night, in collaboration with RW&CO, Subban hosted his very first fashion show in Montreal to debut his own line with the clothing company.
One item featured on the line includes a collection of suits – Subban’s specialty.
“I’ve been wearing suits for a long time now and it could be really really pricey,” Subban said.
“The whole draw of this thing was about quality, but also for it to be affordable. So people can afford to look good and feel confident.”
The hockey star admits events like the RW&CO fashion show remind him how much he misses Montreal.

“I’ve made a lot of friends since I’ve been here and lifelong relationships since I’ve been here over the last eight years,” Subban said.
“Obviously it’s going to be tough to move on from that but those relationships will last forever, so I guess I don’t really have too much to worry about.”
Subban explained that while he’ll stick to his commitments in Montreal, he’s looking forward to starting up new initiatives in Nashville and said he can’t picture playing hockey without all of the things he does off the ice.

“At the end of the day, I wouldn’t be able to maintain playing at a high level if I didn’t do the things that I do away from the game,” he said.
“Everything that I do is to help my team win, but also for me personally, as a person. We’re still people and that’s why I like to give.”
Subban assured Montrealers that Tuesday’s event definitely won’t be the last time they’ll be seeing him.
“I’ll always be here in Montreal, my name’s in that hospital for a lifetime,” he said.
“Montreal will always be home for me.”
