The tweet from @NoLibs on the weekend is being condemned by Twitter users as well as Kenney, who is running for Alberta’s Progressive Conservative leadership.

Kenney says the social network should ban what he calls “lunatic trolls.”

The offensive tweet has since been taken down and the man who posted it has apologized.

Kenney said in Calgary that he’s in favour of freedom of speech, but he draws the line at anyone who intimates violence.
