Saskatoon man loading van with stolen car batteries facing drug charge

Police say they arrested a 37-year-old man following a report of a break and enter this past weekend in Saskatoon’s Marquis Industrial area.

At around 1:30 p.m. CT on Aug. 13, a man was witnessed loading items into the back of a van at a business compound in the 100-block of Wheeler Street.

Officers located the van and stolen car batteries.

The man was also found to be in possession of meth.

He is facing charges of break and enter, possession of methamphetamine and breach of an undertaking.
