RCMP seek witnesses to serious head-on collision west of Edmonton

A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision west of Edmonton early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the crash on Highway 16 near Century Road, north of Spruce Grove, at around 3:20 a.m. Saturday.

Officers said a Chevrolet Blazer was heading east in the westbound lane when it collided head on with a semi-truck. The 25-year-old driving the Blazer was taken to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance with significant injuries.
