Toronto woman says to withhold sex from men with guns

TORONTO – A Toronto woman hopes to curb gun violence by urging women to withhold sex from men who carry guns.

Following the devastating Danzig Street shooting in July, Nicole Osbourne James started the blog, ‘Got a gun? You get none!’ with the hopes of curbing gun violence.

“Women. Mothers. Lovers. We need to use our own power and have a BAN on SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS with men that have guns. We need to stop HARBOURING and ENABLING our sons with guns. Can we make it happen?” the blog states.

“Maybe if violent men did not have an opportunity to reproduce, they would just die out and leave the positive people to populate the Earth.” James says on her blog.

James encourages people to share their thoughts on her blog. Since July, 10 people have posted their opinions.

Some people seem to agree with James’ idea.

“You KNOW I approve this message. Challenge is that unfortunately so many times we as women get so wrapped up that we condone a whole mess’a foolishness.” commented Natasha Jones on the blog.

While others don’t see the issue as gender specific.

“My wife owns a firearm? Should I stop sleeping with her?” commented Ted S on the blog.
