Local 4-legged sensation invited to perform at the PNE

WATCH: Lili the “scooting dog” is back with more tricks – and now she has been invited to perform as a “super dog” at this years PNE.

A unique American Eskimo dog that has turned plenty of heads in North Vancouver over the years might have a performance on the B.C.’s grandest stage for clever canines.

Lili has been invited by the PNE to perform for one night only at their popular SuperDogs event.

The peripatetic pups, which will make their home at the Pacific Coliseum every day of the PNE, are best known for their acrobatics.

Lili doesn’t jump though – instead, she glides and rides on a variety of tiny vehicles.

To the delight, and confusion, of people on the North Shore young…

…and old.

Ondrej Kellner, Lili’s owner, says she took up the scooter when she was a puppy, and her love of motorized travel quickly spread.

Last year, Global News profiled Lili, and her fame quickly grew.

Today, her fleet is six vehicles large, including scooters, tricycles – and even a jeep.

Still, Kellner isn’t sure yet whether Lili will go to the PNE.

“I don’t know. We are not a professional, we are amateurs,” he said.

“We can try, but she’s very moody like me.”
