Fire officials say a neighbour in the 3800 block of 28 Street noticed the blaze just before 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and called 911.

The owner of the car was able to put out the flames before fire fighters arrived.

However, fire officials say the limited damage is not repairable.

The vehicle has since been towed to a impound yard for further investigation.

This is the latest in a string of suspicious fires to hit Vernon.
