It turns out it’s not just humans that enjoy escaping the summer heat with a trip to the beach.
A bear and her two cubs were captured on camera bathing alongside swimmers at a popular beach on Lake Tahoe in California on Monday.

The video recorded by Pallas Buckley shows the trio of bears wading and sitting in the surf.
“I can’believe this,” someone can be heard saying in the video. “They are so cute.”
The bears left sunbathers and beach goers stunned, as several dozen people watched the rare moment from the shore and from inflatable toys in the water.
“This is amazing that they just came down in the middle of the day with all these people and decided to go for a swim,” an onlooker says.
The video recorded the two cubs playing and splashing, while mom enjoyed letting the waves lap over her.
“They act so much like humans,” a child in the video says. “The babies are playing and the mommy is just supervising.”
The bears eventually got out of the water and headed back into the forest, but not before inspecting a cooler that was abandoned on the beach.
