Emergency crews are on scene on Highway 6 near the intersection of Highway 67 Monday morning, after a fatal collision involving a semi-trailer and car.
The crash happened on Highway 6 around 4:30 a.m. A severely damaged car is in the northbound ditch and the semi-trailer is on the southbound shoulder of the highway.
RCMP said the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene. Officers are still investigating the crash with the help of a collision reconstructionist.
At this point no charges have been laid.
RCMP have closed off Highway 6 between Warren, Man., and Grosse Isle for more than six hours. It has now been reopened.
