An overflow crowd gathered at a community centre in south Los Angeles for an anti-gang summit.

Rappers The Game and Snoop Dogg organized the summit to discuss ways to curb violence.

The Game put the word out on social media, inviting leaders of the Crips, Bloods and other street gangs to come together at a town hall style meeting Sunday in South Los Angeles.

The rappers both spoke at a press conference last week about the recent deadly shootings in the black community and against law enforcement.
