Planned pathway for UBC-O cyclists

The city of Kelowna has announced plans to build a multi-use pathway connecting Bulman Road under Highway 97 to Hollywood Road North and the John Hindle Drive roundabout.

The pathway will be four metres wide and intersect with the future Okanagan Rail Corridor.

It’s expected to be completed by September.

The path will provide cycling access for students and staff of UBC Okanagan.

It will cost $1 million, and is being funded by the Federal Gas Tax, Community Works Fund.
