Residents of a Saskatoon condo complex had to evacuate their building due to high levels of carbon monoxide.
Firefighters were called to the building at 130 Edinbourgh Pl. at around 7:45 p.m. CT on Wednesday after receiving a complaint of a natural gas smell in the basement.

Crews entering the building noticed an odd smell, but not natural gas.
Some people had evacuated by that time and the remaining residents were evacuated by fire crews. No injuries were reported.
A check of the air quality detected carbon monoxide, with the highest levels in the boiler room.
Crews isolated the cause to a faulty exhaust system to a boiler.

Natural gas was shut off and the building was ventilated before residents were allowed back in.
