Some people wish they could spend a day on the golf course, but how about the entire day?
That is just want two friends from Glenboro, Manitoba did on Monday.
Dylan Thornborough and Patrick Law golfed from sun up until sun down at the Glenboro Golf and Country Club to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. In all they sunk 145 holes.
It is the fifth year for the Marathon Monday fundraiser. The pair started the annual event after both their families were affected by cancer.
While the amount raised at this year’s event is still be tallied, over the years the friends have helped bring in $35,400 for the charity.
