KELOWNA – A two vehicle, head-on crash in Kelowna in February sent four people to hospital.
Now one of the drivers has been charged with nine criminal offenses.
Police said a Mercedes sedan crossed the centre line on Clement Avenue and struck an on-coming mini-van.
The 23-year-old driver of the car, Anish Kumar, was not hurt but the four occupants of the van suffered various injuries.
Kumar is charged with four counts each of impaired driving causing bodily harm and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
He is also accused of refusing to provide a breath sample.
Kumar makes his first court appearance in August.
