Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a few Good Samaritans that assisted a 26-year-old woman after she was allegedly assaulted in Abbotsford last month.

The alleged serious assault happened on June 26 and resulted in the arrest and charge of a 30-year-old man.

During the Abbotsford Police Department’s investigation, they discovered the victim was found outside a hotel in the 32000-block of Marshall Road by a heterosexual couple in their 50’s or 60’s. They took her to a convenience store in the area and the victim was also helped by a man, also believed to be in his 50’s or 60’s, who ultimately drove her home.

APD investigators would like to speak to these witnesses to not only get statements from them but also thank them for getting involved and supporting the victim during a difficult time.

The couple was driving an SUV and the other Good Samaritan drove a four-door sedan.
