On Friday, July 8, 2016, Global News took the show on the road, broadcasting Global News at 5 and Global News Hour at 6 live from The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium before the Edmonton Eskimos played the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Festivities included a green screen photo booth, where fans were invited to take a digital photo with our Gord Steinke.
