Vancouver Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in South Vancouver early Saturday morning.
Just before 4 a.m., a 22-year-old woman woke up in a home near 49th Avenue and Knight Street to find a strange man standing in her bedroom.
After a struggle, the suspect fled the house.
Police arrived to conduct a search of the area with a dog but could not locate the man.
The suspect is described as white, dressed in dark clothing, six-feet tall, and possibly in his 20’s.
Police have labelled the incident as being sexually motivated.
