The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to reveal on Thursday morning details of events and festivities planned for its upcoming 100th NHL season including the unveiling of the Centennial Anniversary logo.
Leafs president Brendan Shanahan is scheduled to make the announcement at the Hockey Hall of Fame at 10 a.m. ET.
A number of events are already in place to celebrate the team’s centennial season including hosting an outdoor game against the Detroit Red Wings at BMO Field in Toronto on Jan. 1, 2017.

The Leafs and Red Wings had previously met in the NHL’s Winter Classic on Jan. 1, 2014 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Toronto won 3-2 in a shootout that day amid falling snow and frigid conditions.
Earlier this year, the club also unveiled a new logo for the first time in more than 45 years as well as new uniforms.

The revamped “classic Maple Leaf” emblem of Toronto teams from the 1940s to the 1960s will serve as the team’s primary crest this upcoming season.
