4 people pepper sprayed in Tim Hortons parking lot in Pickering

PICKERING, Ont. – Police say they’re looking for two suspects after four people were pepper sprayed in the parking lot of a Tim Hortons in Pickering, Ont.

Durham Regional Police say two men approached a group of 16 to 20-year-olds on Sunday afternoon and demanded their belongings.

When the group members did not comply immediately, police allege one of the suspects pepper sprayed the three men and one woman before fleeing in a car.

The four victims experienced eye and skin irritation, and police say one of the men separated his shoulder when he fell during the attack.

Police say the two suspects are both men between 18 to 20 years of age, adding that one man is believed to have a teardrop tattoo on his face.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
