Police search for suspect after man with stab wounds shows at hospital

Regina police are investigating a stabbing incident that they say happened sometime before midnight Saturday night.

At around 5:27 a.m. on June 26, police were called to the hospital for a report a man who had come in with puncture wounds to his back.

Police say the wounds were relatively minor.

According to police, officers were not able to get much information except that the victim was assaulted by a lone man with a knife sometime around midnight.

Police were not able to get the location of the stabbing incident. The victim’s injuries were treated and he was released from hospital.
