Nova Scotia man charged with drug possession, including Fentanyl

Police have charged a man for possession of Fentanyl and other drugs following a search of a home in Bayswater, Nova Scotia.

On April 6, the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit searched a home in Bayswater, seizing drugs from the home.

An analysis of the drugs confirmed that one of the substances seized was Fentanyl.

Fentanyl is a powerful opioid drug commonly used for long-term pain management.

Other drugs found included Nabilone — a man-made from of cannabis and Codeine.

Police have charged 39-year-old William Harris Rogers of Bayswater with three chargers under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act including:

  •  -Possession of Fentanyl
  • -Possession of Codeine
  • -Possesion of Nabilone

He is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater provincial court on September 7.
