‘Brexit’ will have minimal effect on Saskatchewan according to Brad Wall

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall says the U-K’s decision to leave the European Union will have little effect on the province’s exports.

Wall says the province is well-positioned to stay strong through the near-term Brexit volatility.

The premier says Saskatchewan’s top export markets are the U-S and Asian-Pacific markets like China, India, Japan, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Wall says the E-U accounted for slightly less than four per cent of Saskatchewan’s exports in 2015 and the U-K made up just 0.3 per cent.
