As the Edmonton Oilers prepare to move into Rogers Place this fall, a number of items from Rexall Place could go home with some lucky Oilers fans.
The team has placed a few keepsakes up for auction, including the Oilers logo which lived on the outside of the building at the northeast entrance.
While the annual online auction isn’t new, there seems to be a few more iconic items up for grabs this year as the team prepares to move out.
Edmonton Oilers logo
The massive logo is about nine to 10 feet in diameter, according to the NHL’s online auction site. The logo has some visible wear and tear on the bottom from being exposed to the elements for years. The latest bid for the logo sat at $3,338 USD at noon Monday.
Edmonton Oilers 25th anniversary metal logo
Weighing in at more than 600 pounds, the Edmonton Oilers commissioned this sign to commemorate their 25th anniversary in 2004. The metal logo is about 60 inches wide and 66 inches tall. It used to be located below the escalator to the second-floor concourse near section 119, behind the Edmonton Oilers bench.
At noon Monday, the bid for the logo sat at $3,010.
Edmonton Oilers locker room carpet
The Edmonton Oilers also have a custom-made carpet logo up for grabs. The carpet measures six feet in diameter and is said to be in “excellent condition largely due in part to the great job that long-time Oilers locker room attendant Joe (Joey) Moss has done in keeping the dressing room carpet spotless.”

Edmonton Oilers locker room players’ lounge table and chairs
A massive granite table and 14 chairs which lived in the Edmonton Oilers players’ lounge are also up for auction. The table is five feet wide and 14 feet long. It’s made up of two five-by-seven foot granite table top sections.
The table and chairs were used in the players’ lounge from 2007 to 2016.
At noon on Monday, the bid for the set was at $1,500.
Edmonton Oilers locker room gym weightlifting platform
There’s no doubt hockey players are in great shape. For the fitness lovers out there, the team has put up for auction a weightlifting platform from inside the Oilers locker room.
The custom-made section of hardwood floor measures 72 feet by 91 feet and has an Oilers logo in the centre.
The bid for the platform was sitting at $555 at noon on Monday.
