Man dies of injuries after being struck by train near Beaverton, Ont.: police

BEAVERTON, Ont. — Police say a man struck by a train north of Beaverton, Ont., last week has died.

Durham Regional Police say the 38-year-old Beaverton man was found on the tracks last Thursday night.

The man, whose name hasn’t been released, was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Police said Monday that the man succumbed to his injuries on Friday night.
