TORONTO – A woman who was critically injured in a hit and run incident in Toronto’s east end has died.
Police say the 25-year old victim was struck by a van early Friday morning and succumbed to her injuries Sunday night.
Her name has not been released.
Police are still looking for the driver of the van, which is described as two-tone with a darker colour on top and lighter colour on the bottom.
The incident happened on Danforth Road, south of St. Clair Avenue East just after 3 a.m. Friday.
