WINNIPEG — Runners hit the pavement for the 38th annual Manitoba Marathon on Sunday.
For the first time in 30 years, the full marathon route has changed. Runners will be running the same route, but in reverse.
Bradley Keefe from Winnipeg won the men’s Full Marathon with a time of 2:43:32.
Keefe placed second the two previous years while competing in the Manitoba Marathon and took third the three consecutive years before that.

Heather Magill crossed the line with a time of 2:55:55 to win the women’s Full Marathon.

The 26.2 mile full marathon run will take competitors from Chancellor Matheson Road all the way north to Portage Avenue and back down to the Investors Group Field.
