WINNIPEG — The Forks has officially put craft beer and wine on tap.

The new wine and beer kiosks are located in the renovated food hall at The Forks Market. Both drinks are available by the glass or in tasting flights.

There are 20 of each to choose from, and all the drinks all curated by a Canadian-based professional sommelier. The beverage list will also change seasonally.

“This adds a whole new experience to The Forks Market, while still maintaining our family friendly atmosphere. While you’re enjoying wine with paella, your kids can grab a hotdog and fries,” said Clare MacKay, Vice President of The Forks North Portage. “It’s been a long road in getting here, but it’s definitely worth the wait.”

The addition of the craft beer and wine kiosk is part of a larger $2.8 million refresh that started a year ago.
